VIP: Document Preview to Open in New Browser Tab

Currently, when viewing a document in VIP (a report, invoice, hire statement, etc) the preview window takes up the entire screen of the active browser tab. This prevents me from having VIP open while viewing the document -- for example, I cannot view the voyage manager P&L and review an freight invoice to find discrepancies. I would like the system to launch the document viewer in a new browser tab.
