Add Ice layer on map taken from the Finnish Meteorological Institute (API)
For Chartering knowing the current Ice condition on the Baltic Sea is paramount. Today, the team is looking at the charts in isolation whereas this could be perfectly fit as a layer on the map - specially by looking at IMOS VIP ability to do estimates with the full visibility of the map (including weather AND ice conditions).

Dmitry Fomichev. SCFWe also use alternative source to get ice condition in sailing areas... Surely it`s important but seems to me should be out of IMOS scope. There are number of Ice Condition monitoring systems...with different data formats. So needs to unify them. Another issue is different measurement dates...So not a proper way to show such info on same map.

Andres WetzelFor sake of doubt: the current ice concentration integration on Veslink works on percentual base, whereas the requirement here is to have the ice thickness (much more relevant for Shipping).
