For scrubber fitted vessels calculate fuel consumption in accordance with territorial regulations

There are a number of places, such as ECA zones, where the use of scrubbers can be subject to a number of rules. For example, Open Loop scrubbers are not allowed to be used in some territorial waters. Currently there does not appear to be a way to tell IMOS where scrubbers cannot be used, other than in ports. What we require to accurately reflect scrubber and bunker usage is the ability to capture zones around the world and the scrubbers authorised to be used in them.
