Enable Claim Creation Without Cargo or Load/Discharge Ports

Request: We request a feature enhancement in IMOS that allows users to create a claim even when no cargo or Load/Discharge ports are defined on the itinerary. In spot trading, trades are often accepted before cargo is known.

A common example is when a DryDock occurs immediately after voyage commencement, before any fixture planning or cargo allocation. Currently, claims cannot be logged in such cases, which disrupts accurate operational recordkeeping.

Veson’s workaround—creating a “Stand Alone” claim—does not satisfy reporting needs, as it lacks linkage to a specific vessel and voyage, which is critical for internal audit and reporting tools.

Suggested Implementation: Allow users to create claims tied directly to a vessel and voyage, even when no cargo or itinerary is present, without generating a fixture. These claims should still be visible in voyage- and vessel-based report
