APIs Extract >> Use "|" as a separator instead of comma

Internally, our team are making reports in IMOS TEST and we’d like to load it in our DataWarehouse by calling the API with an external tool.

Thing is, we have 2 extraction formats available with APIs: Csv and Doc...

CSV is easy to process and read, but we fear that there might me some comas in the middle of some descriptive fields as it is an easy error made by end-users which would totally mess up the extract processing.

Thus, we would like to use CSV but with another type separator such as "||" instead of a comma.

Moreover, the DOC format is really weird as it’s not a json, it’s not a xml… we’d need to code extensive stuff to use it.

Thank you for upvoting this improvement that would greatly help Veson's other clients!

There are many VIP clients already using the current format, you would be forcing them to make changes to all internal API programs to accommodate you...

Hello Ryan, I would be open to a 3rd format instead of replacing CSVs with "," as separator. I asked this because a lot of "," are used in freetext fields and when it is exported it is a mess! =)
