Control Invoice Attachment Size
The setting CFGIncludeInvoiceAttachmentBase64 adds a base-64 encoded version of the invoice attachments in the XML output, and the setting CFGIncludeInvoiceBase64 adds a base-64 encoded version of the invoice PDF in the XML output.
This request is to add another setting that will control/limit the size of these attachments.

Josh TromansI believe there is some functionality that already exists that might solve your problem. There is a configuration flag called CFGIncludeInvoiceAttachmentBase64 which will add a Base64 encoded version of the attachments into the "invoice" XML file.

Per Ostman AdminHi Vanessa,
In addition to Josh's good suggestion to use CFGIncludeInvoiceAttachmentBase64, which adds a base-64 encoded version of the invoice attachments in the XML output, you may also be interested in CFGIncludeInvoiceBase64, which adds a base-64 encoded version of the invoice PDF in the XML output.
Thanks,

Vanessa ChngHi,
I activated both config. Besides may I know what's the max size of attachment(s) files allow? Can we control the max size to upload?
Best Regards,

Per Ostman AdminHi Vanessa,
We don't enforce a hard limit on the size of the attachments, though we would suggest limiting the size as much as possible (eg under 10MB) similar to what you would do when sending an email.
Thanks,

Vanessa ChngHi Per,
Thanks for the replied, I believed we can raised this as enhancement to control of size of attachments. Do I still need to create another ticket in Feature board?
Best Regards,

Sijin JohnHi, Yes This would be a very useful feature because in case of integration to ERP we would like to restrict the size of attachments and a configuration flag would definitely serve this purpose.
