Remittance Bank dropdown menu – highlighting behavior
This request for change in functionality comes from one of our (Equinor) IMOS users and involves the drop-down list for selecting Remittance Bank from the Port Advance/DA screen. The request is for cases where there are several banks with the same name listed for one address in the Address Book. When this is the case, mentioned drop down list will highlight the first bank on the list (autocomplete), instead of the selected one. This is true when one of the accounts with a bank with the same name as other banks is selected. The user expects the selected bank to be highlighted, and not the first on the list.

It is same on the cargo screen and causes lot of confusion when someone go into the screen to verify the bank and only to surprise that it is not highlighting the correct one. And there is no way from the screen to confirm which bank was selected other than to re-select the correct bank and save it. -

ZackThis is the same on any screen where there are multiple companies/banks with the same name but different types (like C,F,O). The Other Rev/Exp screen is another example and I have noticed this has caused confusion frequently.
